Fort Lauderdale Police Department welcomes crime fighting partnership with the SmartWater team.

To a standing room only press conference today, Fort Lauderdale Police introduced SmartWater, its latest high-tech, crime-fighting tool that will soon be in action to help catch criminals.

SmartWater is a forensically encoded liquid that can be applied to personal property or even sprayed on intruders to help police identify stolen property and criminals.

City of Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler, Fort Lauderdale Police Chief Frank Adderley, SmartWater UK founder Philip Cleary and SmartWater CSI U.S. President Logan Pierson were on hand to describe SmartWater and its partnership with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
