Fort Lauderdale, FL – SmartWater CSI, a proven forensic coding theft deterrent technology introduced in the United States in 2012, has received the Salute to Business 2013 International Achievement Award from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.

The award was accepted by Logan Pierson, president of SmartWater CSI at the annual Salute to Business Awards Dinner. Honorees were selected based on individual merit and business contributions to the county, innovation, leadership, employee relations, growth and stability, charitable contributions, and involvement with the chamber

SmartWater CSI was recognized for its leadership in forensic marking technology in both North America and the United Kingdom.  The organization was commended for its proven track record in deterring theft through traceability and linking stolen property to the rightful owner.
