Gang Sentenced for Cash in Transit Robbery at London’s Queen’s Park Post Office
ROBBERS stole tens of thousands of pounds during a post office cash drop off and tried to launder the currency in betting shops, a court heard.
Two of the defendants – Thomas Knapper, 26, of no fixed address, and Michael Brothers, 29, of Bravington Road, Kilburn – carried out a robbery at the post office in Salusbury Road, Queen’s Park, at 11.45am on November 15 and got away with a cash box containing £25,000 after knocking the security guard who was carrying it to the floor.
